Regular Order, Day 6
- The varsity football team will host E.D. White in our home opener on Friday night at Tad Gormley Stadium with kickoff set for 7:00. Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase daily at the front desk up until Friday at 3:30 p.m. Pre-sale tickets are $5.00 each for Jesuit students and children (ages 6-11) and $10.00 each for adults and non-Jesuit students. All adult and student (Jesuit and non-Jesuit) tickets purchased at the gate are $15.00 each. Note that student ID’s will not be accepted at the gate for this non-district contest.
- Seniors must attend a meeting today during the first half of lunch in the auditorium for a Balfour graduation announcements presentation.
- The Fishing club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 313.
- Paintball Club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 110 to plan the club’s first outing. See Master Gunnery Sergeant Piseno in the ROTC office with questions.
- There will be a Total Sodal for all new and returning Sodality members in any grade today during the first half of lunch beginning with Mass in Holy Name chapel.
- Math tutoring is available today and tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 229 for students in Intro Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2.
- Returning members of Mu Alpha Theta: Get your tutoring hours completed this semester by signing up on the bulletin board outside of Room 225. You may sign up to tutor during lunch Tuesday-Thursday or after school on Mondays and Wednesdays. The September calendar is posted.
- There is No Physical Science Tutoring today. Tutoring will be available tomorrow from 3:00 to 4:00, and go back to regular schedule Monday and Wednesday after school in Room 319.
- The 8th grade football team will host Rummel this afternoon at John Ryan Stadium starting at 6:00.
- The jv football team will play at Rummel this afternoon starting at 5:30.
- The Chess Club will meet tomorrow after school in Room 311.
- Students interested in going to serve breakfast to the homeless at Grace at the Greenlight this Thursday should see Mr. Delatte in Room 127 as soon as possible.
- Seniors, the ring dance will take place at the Moore this Saturday from 8:00pm to 11:00pm. Tickets are for sale online this week and can be purchased for $60/couple through GoFan.
- Admissions representatives from several colleges will be available today during lunch during the first half of lunch. Texas A & M University will be in Room 121, University of Rochester will be in Room 122 and Boston College will be in the College Counseling Suite.
Results:
The JV football team had an outstanding week, securing a complete shutout victory against St. Charles Catholic, 20-0. Garrett Jordan and Mani Vandenweghe spearheaded the offense with two scoring drives, while Garret Crupi sealed the win with a pick-six, highlighting the defensive dominance. In Dallas, the JV Jays defeated the Rangers 7-6 in a thrilling finish. Ashton Bourgeois led the rushing attack with a touchdown, Rashad Brumfield made a crucial interception, and Julian Alvarado led the defense with punishing tackles and a game-winning blocked PAT.
